Avocado Citrus Salad – A Powerful Combination

I had this salad for lunch the past two days…I am loving this flavor combo!  Not only is it tasty, but it offers great health benefits.  Clementines contain Vitamin C, which can help reduce Cortisol (a stress hormone) levels. Higher stress levels can lead to higher levels of belly fat.  Avocados contain monounsaturated fats.  Evidence shows that a reduced-calorie diet rich in monounsaturated fats can help control blood sugar, trim belly fat and visceral fat more than a diet that is high in carbs and low in fats.  Whether you’re looking to fight fat or not, this recipe is an awesome salad combination.
